Description
Almond flour, sometimes known as Almond meal is made from raw unblanched almonds. These almonds are ground into a fine powder that can be used instead of wheat flour in cookies, cakes and other foods. It is highly recommended to customers who are on a gluten-free diet or if allergic to wheat gluten. Although almond flour is similar in consistency to wheat flour, its nutritional makeup is significantly different.
