Description
Almond flour, sometimes known as Almond meal is made from raw skinless (blanched) almonds. These almonds are ground into a very fine powder that can be used as an alternative for wheat flour in cookies, cakes and other foods. Almond flour is highly recommended to customers on gluten-free diets or that are allergic to wheat gluten. Although almond flour is similar in consistency to wheat flour, its nutritional makeup is significantly different.

Storage
Keep in a cool, dry place for 2 months without refrigeration. If refrigerated (35–45ºF, 2–7ºC), the shelf life can last up to 6 months.
